To facilitate the construction of Signature Project Scheme (Wan Chai District) ??the Moreton Terrace Activities Centre (?�the Project??, the outdoor volleyball courts at Moreton Terrace Temporary Playground (?�the Playground?? will be closed permanently on 19 August 2019. The Project is expected to be completed in mid-2021. In the meantime, the size of the 7-a-side football pitch of the Playground will be temporarily reduced and the portion near the outdoor volleyball courts will be temporarily closed and used as works area. The football pitch will be reprovisioned to its original size upon completion of the Project.
During the construction, members of the public may use the 7-a-side football pitches at Victoria Park, Wan Chai Park and Southorn Playground, the handball cum volleyball court at Victoria Park in Wan Chai District, as well as the outdoor volleyball courts at Blake Gardens in Central & Western District, North Point Vehicular Ferry Pier Playground in Eastern District and Ap Lei Chau Park in Southern District.
