Application for Inclusion in the LCSD Notification Lists

LCSD NOTIFICATION LISTS FOR GOODS AND SERVICES

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (“LCSD”) maintains notification lists of suppliers for goods and related services tendered by LCSD (“LCSD Notification Lists”).  Application for inclusion in the LCSD Notification Lists is free of charge.  Any suppliers not currently included but wishing to be considered for inclusion in these lists may apply by sending a completed application form to LCSD.

Applications received will be processed by LCSD and the applicants will be notified of the result in writing.  Subject to confirmation of their credentials, those firms that are found acceptable will be included in the LCSD Notification Lists.  Their continued inclusions in these lists will depend on their demonstrated ability to offer competitive tenders and on their performance in connection with any order(s) or contract(s) which they have been awarded.  LCSD reserves the right to review the inclusion of a supplier on the Notification Lists in the light of any new information relevant to its qualification. 

Suppliers included in the LCSD Notification Lists may receive tender notification from LCSD, as and when opportunities arise, for the types of goods and/or related services under the commodity code(s), for which they have been included.

For procurement exercises to be invited from 1 June 2025 onwards, the Government will fully adopt electronic means in making payments to suppliers and will no longer provide the option of physical cheques.  In addition to bank transfer, suppliers may also receive government payments via the Faster Payment System (FPS) by providing “HKID” or “FPS identifier” to procuring departments.  Procurement exercises invited before 1 June 2025 will not be affected by this new measure.
