Notes on Enrolment (Urban and New Territories Region)

I. Codes for Enrolment Method and Procedure:

1. Enrol in person at any District Leisure Services Offices or any recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services (Not applicable to Queen Elizabeth Stadium)

Applicants should return the completed application forms, together with the originals/copies of valid documentary proof required by individual programme (including recreation and sports programmes designated for persons with disabilities), originals/copies of documentary proof eligibility for concessionary rates and their entry fees, to any District Leisure Services Offices / recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services on the date(s) of enrolment.  Applications will be processed until all the quotas are filled.  At the time of enrolment, Hong Kong residents should produce their Hong Kong Identity Card, children aged below 11 could also produce Birth Certificate / Document of Identity for Visa Purposes / HKSAR Re-entry Permit / One-way Permit.  Non-Hong Kong residents should produce their valid travel documents (e.g. passports, Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao) (original or copy) for verification.

Unless otherwise stated, each applicant may only submit one application form at one time.  Those who want to submit more than one application form must queue up again.

2. Enrolment by mail

An applicant should mail the completed application form, together with a crossed cheque payable to ‘The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’, copies of his/her identity documents (for verification only) copies of valid documentary proof required by individual programme (including recreation and sports programmes designated for persons with disabilities), copies of documentary proof for eligibility for concessionary rates and a stamped return envelope to the District Office organising the activity at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the activity.  Enrolment will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis. For applications received on the same day, priority will be accorded to the applicants who make the enrolment in person.  Remaining quota will be allocated by balloting to the mail applications if applications exceed the quota.

3. Enrolment through Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk (only applicable to holders of valid Hong Kong Identity Card)

During the period of enrolment, applicants may enrol in the activities through a Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk.

1. Applicants should submit the application forms in person or by post to the District Office organising the activity / designated venues of respective district (Please refer to the monthly programme information of District Office organising the activity or contact the District Office for enquiries), or apply through the Internet (visit https://www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/programmes/programmeslist/districtsports/searchrsprog.php, click on the programme, and click “E-submission for balloting application” under the “Application Form” section on the Activity Page) or Leisure Link Self-service Kiosk (only applicable to holders of valid Hong Kong Identity Card) on the specified date. For the same type of activities organised by a district within same enrolment period, each applicant can only submit one application form. Applicants who duplicate their enrolments or submit incomplete applications will be disqualified.

2. Successful applicants must bring along their notification letters, identity documents (original or copy) and entry fees to the designated District Offices / recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services / Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks (only applicable to holders with valid Hong Kong Identity Card) / Leisure Link Internet Booking (not applicable to competitions) (for details, please refer to the notification letters).

3. Waiting list will be drawn up for all the LCSD training programmes and recreation activities.  No priority number will be assigned to the applicants on the waiting list.

4. If places are available after the payment due date for successful applicants, these places will be opened for all the applicants on the waiting list for enrolment within specified period at any District Leisure Services Offices / recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link Services / Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks (only applicable to holders with valid Hong Kong Identity Card) / Leisure Link Internet Booking (not applicable to competitions) on a first-come-first-served basis. (Remarks: All applicants on the waiting list will be informed of the details of arrangement by mail.)
If there are still places after the enrolment period for the applicants on the waiting list, these places will be opened to the general public on the “Date of Open Enrolment for Remaining Quota” starting from 8:30am, via the following means, for enrolment on a first-come-first-served basis:

  • District Leisure Services Offices
  • Recreation and Sports Venues with Leisure Link Services
  • Leisure Link Internet Booking                  (not applicable to competitions)
  • Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks      (only applicable to holders of valid Hong Kong Identity Card and not applicable to competitions)

5. The balloting result of each programme will be publicized within five working days from the balloting date. Enquiries about the balloting result and the remaining quota arrangement may be directed to the respective District Office organising the activity.

Graphic: Internet Booking Symbol means the activity also accepts on-line enrolment via Leisure Link Internet Booking on a first-come-first-served basis.  Applicants may enrol in activities through the mobile Leisure Link e-Service System or the Leisure Link website (http://leisurelink.lcsd.gov.hk) starting from 8:30am on the first day of enrolment.

Remarks: Non-Hong Kong residents holding valid travel documents wish to make enrolments through internet booking service for the recreation and sports programme, they must apply for registration as a Leisure Link Temporary Patrons in person at the Leisure Link Services Centre at the Kwun Chung Municipal Services Building.

II. Points to Note on Enrolment :

(1) Applicants should be aware of their health condition, and consider whether it is suitable for them to enrol in the recreation and sports activity. In case of doubt, please consult a doctor prior to the enrolment of activity.
(2) To enrol in recreation and sports activities, please complete and submit the applicable application forms along with relevant documentary proof.  Incomplete applications will not be accepted.  Applicants under 18 should obtain the written consent of their parents/guardians before enrolling in activities organised by the LCSD.
(3) To submit enrolment forms by post, please make sure that all mail items bear sufficient postage.  This Department will not accept any underpaid mail items and such items will be handled by the Hongkong Post.  For calculation of postage, please refer to the Hongkong Post’s website (http://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/postage_calculator/index.html).
(4) In the case of a joint application (see section on “Joint Application” on Enrolment form for Recreation and Sports Activities (LCS637a) for details), both applicants (including a person with disability and his/her accompanying carer) will be disqualifed if there is duplicate submission of enrolment forms by any of the applicants, or if any of the applications contain incomplete information, or if any of the applicants does not meet the age requirement.
(5) All entry fees are listed in full rate.
(6) If entry fee is paid by cheque, applicants should complete the enrolment at least 10 working days prior to the commencement of the activity.
(7) People of different age groups and levels of ability including Persons with Disabilities are welcome to enrol in all the programmes. To enrol in training courses, recreation activities and competitions (for Swimming Gala, Athletic Meet and Individual Games Competitions only), persons aged below 15 / aged 60 or above, full-time students and persons with disabilities can enjoy concessionary rate by producing their valid proof upon enrolment (including valid student handbook/ student card with photo, the “Registration Card for People with Disabilities” issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau and the notification of successful application for disability allowance issued by the Social Welfare Department). Each participant with disabilities may be accompanied by no more than ONE carer who can also enjoy the concession (concession for carers is not available for competitions).  Participants enrolled at concessionary rate shall produce the original copy(ies) of documentary proof of their entitlement to the concession for the instructor’s inspection in the first lesson of an enrolled course.  Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the difference between the full fee and the concessionary fee.
(8) The programme entry fees do not cover meals.  Participants of day, residential or evening camps and excursions are required to pay for meal charges.
(9) Applicants’ age is calculated against the commencement date of the programmes.
(10) Unless under special circumstances, no application for refund, change of programme or making substitution is allowed after enrolment.
(11) (*) means leaflets of the programmes concerned are available at the District Offices organising the activity.
(12) The announcement of the District Offices organising the activity shall prevail.  Programme information is subject to change without prior notice.  For details, please contact the respective District Office by telephone or see the notices on the notice board.
(13) Apart from those training courses with different levels specified, the others are elementary training courses which are to equip the participants with the basic skill and knowledge of the sport.  It is recommended that, upon the completion of the training course, the participants can continue to practice on their own and enjoy the fun of doing exercise.
(14) All activities are conducted in Cantonese unless otherwise specified.
(15) Please note the information before participating the following activities:

Recreation and Sports Programmes Designated for Persons with Disabilities Recreation and Sports Programmes Designated for Persons with Disabilities
Applicants should produce the following valid documentary proof during enrolment for verification: -
  1. Programmes designated for specific types of disabilities (such as intellectual disabilities or physical disabilities): The “Registration Card for People with Disabilities” issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau.
  2. Programmes designated for all types of disabilities: The “Registration Card for People with Disabilities” issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau or the notification of successful application for disability allowance issued by the Social Welfare Department.

For enrolment made through Leisure Link Internet service or self-service kiosk, participants should produce the originals of valid documentary proof for verification by LCSD staff / instructors on the first day of activity. Otherwise, participants and their accompanying carers will not be allowed to take part in the activity.

Each participant may be accompanied by ONE carer for free.  The arrangements for accompanying carers are as follows: 

  1. Training schemes: Accompanying carers may attend the class with the enrolled PWDs on the training day. No enrolment is required. Accompanying Carer’s Cards will be distributed by the instructor at the beginning of each class as identification.
  2. Other activities: Accompanying carers are required to enrol in recreation programmes with PWDs to facilitate coach and camp place arrangements. Admission tickets, which must be presented for verification when attending activities, will be issued to accompanying carers upon successful enrolment.
Fitness (Multi-gym) Training Course
  1. Participants who have attained an attendance rate of 80% will be registered as a user of LCSD Fitness Rooms and may hire the fitness rooms provided by the LCSD for self-practice.
  2. Participants should attend the class on time.  Those who are late for 15 minutes or more will be considered absent for that session.
Track Cycling Training Course

Level I
  • Applicants must be aged 11 or above, at least 146 cm in height and able to manage two-wheeled bikes.
Level II
  • Applicants must have completed and passed the Track Cycling Training Course (Level I) organised by the LCSD or the Track Cycling Training Course (Level I) organised by The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Ltd. (CAHK) / its affiliated club.
Level III
  • Applicants must have completed and passed the Track Cycling Training Course (Level II) organised by the LCSD or the Track Cycling Training Course (Level II) organised by the CAHK / its affiliated club.

Note: Applicants are required to produce proof of the relevant qualification issued by the LCSD or the CAHK on enrolment in the Track Cycling Training Course (Level II/III).  The LCSD may request participants to produce proof of relevant qualification or give the personal particulars of the applicants to the CAHK for verification of their qualification if necessary.  Applicants who fail to meet the entry requirements will not be allowed to take part in the course and no refunds will be available.


Participants should put on comfortable and tight-fitting sportswear (e.g. cycling apparel) and trainers (no basketball shoes or sandals are allowed).  They must also wear the helmets provided at the Hong Kong Velodrome.

BMX Training Course/Fun Day
  1. Participants should be able to manage two-wheeled bikes.
  2. Participants must wear casual sportswear (which should be tight instead of baggy clothing) and trainers (no bike shoes, basketball shoes or sandals). They must also wear the helmets and protective gears provided at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park (BMX Park).
  3. In unstable weather conditions, the BMX Park reserves the right to cancel the activity for safety’s sake.
Parent-child (Aged 7-17) 
Badminton Training Course/
Fun Day

 Age: 7-17 (Child) and 18 or above (Parent).

Training Course: Applicants shall enrol in pairs. The pair shall include a parent aged 18 or above and his/her child aged 7 to 17.
Fun Day: Applicants shall enrol in groups of two to four persons.  The group shall include a parent aged 18 or above and his/her child aged 7 to 17.
Parent-child (Aged 6-12) 
Social Dance Training Course
  1. Mainly teach the basic steps of cha-cha.
  2. Age: 6 to 12 (Child) and 18 or above (Parent).
  3. Applicants shall enrol in pairs. The pair shall include a parent aged 18 or above and his/her child aged 6 to 12.
Social Dance Training Course/
Excursion for Elderly/
Day Camp for Elderly
Enrolments can be made in single or in pairs.
Briefing on Proper Ways to Use Fitness Equipment
  1. The briefing lasts three hours.  It will cover both theory and practice, and will include a written assessment.  Those who attend the briefing and pass the assessment may register as a user of LCSD Fitness Rooms and may hire the fitness rooms provided by the LCSD for self-practice.
  2. Participants should attend the briefing on time.  If they are late for ten minutes or above, their places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis to other persons waiting in the venue.
  3. If there are unfilled places after the commencement of the briefing for less than 30 minutes, latecomers can still attend the briefing.
  4. Due to the tight schedule of the briefing, latecomers will not be allowed to enter the venue after the commencement of the briefing for over 30 minutes.
  5. Participants are required to put on clean sports shoes and proper sportswear.
Horse-riding Fun Day
  1. Participants should weigh below 68kg (150 lb).
  2. Participants are advised not to wear any accessories, e.g. earrings, rings and necklaces when riding.
  3. Participants should wear shirts with sleeves, loose-fitting pants, leather shoes/boots with heels, and helmets provided by the riding schools.
  4. In unstable weather conditions, the riding schools reserve the right to cancel their activities for safety’s sake.
Fitness (Multi-gym) Training Course / Hydro Fitness Training Course / Aerobic Dance Training Course / Fitness Exercise Training Course / QualiWalk Training Course / Briefing on Proper Ways to Use Fitness Equipment / Long Distance Running Training Course / Stress Management and Physical Relaxation Training Course / Body-Mind Stretch Training Course The “Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) & YOU” should be submitted together with the enrolment form.  If applicant answers “yes” to one or more questions in the “PAR-Q & YOU”, his/her physical condition may not be suitable for taking part in the activity concerned.  For safety’s sake, he/she should consult a doctor in advance and produce a medical certificate upon enrolment to prove that he/she is physically fit for taking part in the activity.  Any applicant who fails to produce a medical certificate must submit the completed Declaration together with the enrolment form upon enrolment.

  1. Participants of Level II / III of the Progressive Swimming Scheme should pass the pre-course assessment (swimming test). Holders of valid course-end assessment record / swimming test certificate could be exempted from taking the swimming test. Nevertheless, they are still required to attend the first lesson.
  2. Those who are not exempted from the entrance swimming test should pass the swimming test held in the first lesson before they can participate in the course. Those who have failed in the swimming test should return the original payment receipt to the organising district office for arranging partial refund (entrance fees deducted). Participants absent from the swimming test are regarded as waiving their rights and all fees paid are not refundable.
Life Saving Training Course

Being able to swim 200 metres by any swimming strokes (except Back Stroke) within 5 minutes and tread water for 3 minutes

Participants should pass the swimming test held in the first lesson before they can participate in the course. Participants absent from the swimming test are regarded as waiving their rights and all fees paid are not refundable.

Fencing Training Course

Note: Apply for LCSD Intermediate level or above water sports programmes including (a) the certificate courses under the progressive training schemes of the Hong Kong Canoe Union, the Hong Kong Sailing Federation and the Windsurfing Association of Hong Kong and (b) the LCSD’s kayak, sailing and windsurfing skill improvement classes/clinics/trips marked with ‘note’ in the publicity material are required to produce the logbooks and certificates/proof of qualification issued by the above-named National Sports Associations and certificates/proof of qualification is required. The above requirement does not apply to individuals who have been issued with the LCSD Logbook on or before 31 December 2014.

Canoe Polo Elementary Training Course

Scope of Test / Qualification for Participation: Being able to swim with light clothing for 50 meters


Participants should pass the swimming test held in the first lesson before they can participate in the course. Those who have failed in the swimming test should return the original payment receipt to the organising district office for arranging partial refund (entrance fees deducted). Participants absent from the swimming test are regarded as waiving their rights and all fees paid are not refundable.
American Pool Training Course

Fun Day Activities (in sessions) Each applicant may take part in one session only. Please refer to the organising district office for the time of the activities of each session.
Judo Training Course Applicants aged 50 above should present medical certificate at the time of enrolment.
Hiking Scheme
  1. Suitable for persons aged 6 and above, in good health and interested in hiking. Children aged below 12 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult.
  2. A maximum of 4 persons can enroll together.
QualiWalk Training Course Suitable for persons aged 6 and above. Children aged below 12 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult.
Golf Training Course (Level III - District)

The third lesson will be conducted at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre. Please contact the organising District Leisure Services Office for the date and time of the lesson.

(Due to the works of the "Re-provision of Tuen Mun Swimming Pool and Golf Practice Green at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre", this course will be suspended until further notice.)

Golf Training Course

Golf Training Course (Long Game Improver) Organised for those who have basic skills in playing long irons and woods
Golf Training Course (Short Game Improver)

Organised for those who have basic skills on chipping, putting and bunker shots

(Due to the works of the "Re-provision of Tuen Mun Swimming Pool and Golf Practice Green at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre", this course will be suspended until further notice.)

Golf Training Course (Uneven Lies Technique) Organised for those who are familiar with playing set of golf clubs
Community Garden Programme Successful applicants who have confirmed their participation in the Programme are not eligible to obtain, via ballot(s), a place in the next round of the Programme organised at the same garden or any other garden in the same district with the same enrolment period.
(16) Unless otherwise notified, the following arrangements will be made in the Case of inclement weather:

I. Strong monsoon signal or thunderstorm warnings
  • In case the above signal or warning is in force at 7:00 am on the activity day, all sea touring programmes held in Water Sports Centres will be cancelled (including the scheduled trip in the training course).
  • Other activities will be held as scheduled. The organising district has discretion to cancel the activity for the sake of safety.
II. Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 1:
  • In case the above signal is in force at 7:00 am on the activity day, all sea touring programmes and tent camping held in Water Sports Centres will be cancelled (including the scheduled trip in the training course).
  • Other activities will be held as scheduled. The organising district has discretion to cancel the activity for the sake of safety.
III. Amber rainstorm warning signal :
  • In case the above signal is issued on the activity day, all activities will be held as scheduled. The organising district has discretion to cancel the activity for the sake of safety.
  • In case the above signal is issued three hours before an activity commences, BMX Training Course/Fun Day held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park will be cancelled.
IV. Red rainstorm warning signal:
  • In case the above signal is in force at 7:00 am on the activity day, the morning/whole-day outdoor pursuit programmes will be cancelled. (all activities except sea touring and tent camping will be held in water sports centres as usual)
  • In case the above signal is in force at 12:00 noon on the activity day, the afternoon outdoor pursuit programmes will be cancelled.
Activities affected : tent camping, excursion/ hiking, sea touring programmes and orienteering etc
  • In case the above signal is issued two hours before an activity commences, all outdoor pursuit programmes, except programmes held at swimming pools, will be cancelled (including activities held at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre and Wo Yi Hop Road Golf Driving Range).
Activities affected: tennis, distance running, fitness walking, Tai Chi, roller skating, lawn bowling, golf, sports climbing, rope course, archery and horse-riding etc
  • In case the red rainstorm warning signal is cancelled two hours before an activity commences and the venue condition permits, the above activities (except those specified) will be held as scheduled. Participants should consider the actual weather and traffic condition in deciding whether or not to attend the activity.
  • In case the above signal is issued three hours before an activity commences, all recreation and sports programmes designated for persons with disabilities and BMX Training Course/Fun Day held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park will be cancelled.
V. Tropical cyclone warning signal No. 3
  • In case the above signal is in force at 7:00 am on the activity day, the morning/whole-day outdoor pursuit programmes will be cancelled.
Activities affected: tent camping, day camping, excursion/ hiking and programmes held at Water Sports Centres, etc
  • In case the above signal is in force at 12:00 noon on the activity day, the afternoon outdoor pursuit programmes will be cancelled.
Activities affected: residential camping, evening camping, etc
  • In case the above signal is issued two hours before an activity commences, activities held at Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre and Wo Yi Hop Road Golf Driving Range will be cancelled.
  • In case the above signal is cancelled two hours before an activity commences, the above activities (except those specified) will be held as scheduled. Participants should consider the actual weather and traffic condition when deciding whether or not to attend the activity. For enquiries, participants may contact relevant District Leisure Services Office.
  • In case the above signal is issued three hours before an activity commences, all recreation and sports programmes designated for persons with disabilities and BMX Training Course/Fun Day held at the Hong Kong Jockey Club International BMX Park will be cancelled.
VI. Black rainstorm warning signal
  • In case the above announcement is issued when the activities are proceeding, all outdoor activities will be cancelled while all indoor activities will be proceeded as scheduled.
  • In case the above announcement is issued two hours before the start of the activities, the activities will be cancelled.
  • In case the black rainstorm warning signal is cancelled two hours before an activity commences and the venue condition permits, all activities will be held as scheduled. Participants should consider the actual weather and traffic condition when deciding whether or not to attend the activity.
VII. Pre-No.8 special announcement (an advance notice to the public issued by the Hong Kong Observatory when the tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 is expected within two hours)
  • In case the above announcement is issued when the activities are proceeding, the activities will be proceeded as scheduled.
  • In case the above announcement is issued before the start of the activities, the activities will be cancelled.
Tropical cyclone warning signal No.8 or above
  • In case the above signal is issued, all activities will be cancelled.
  • In case the tropical cyclone warning signal No.8 is cancelled two hours before an activity commences and the venue condition permits, all activities will be held as scheduled. Participants should consider the actual weather and traffic condition when deciding whether or not to attend the activity.
For the situations mentioned in items IV to VII (i.e. the red rainstorm warning signal, tropical cyclone warning signal No. 3 or above or black rainstorm warning signal is issued), whether all recreation and sports programmes designated for persons with disabilities and those organised by the Islands District Leisure Services Office will be held as scheduled depends on whether the signal(s) is issued/cancelled by the Hong Kong Observatory three hours prior to the scheduled times of these activities.
VIII. "High" health risk category (Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) of 7)
  • Activities will be held as scheduled. Environmental Protection Department advises those with existing heart or respiratory illnesses (such as coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases, asthma and chronic obstructive airways diseases including chronic bronchitis and emphysema), children and the elderly to reduce outdoor physical exertion, and to reduce the time of their stay outdoors, especially in areas with heavy traffic.  Participants with existing heart or respiratory illnesses should also seek advice from a medical doctor before participating in sports activities and take more breaks during physical activities.  As the health effects on individuals may vary, participants should seek advice from a medical doctor if they are in doubt or feel uncomfortable.
"Very High" health risk category (Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) of 8-10)
  • Activities will be held as scheduled. Environmental Protection Department advises those with existing heart or respiratory illnesses (such as coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases, asthma and chronic obstructive airways diseases including chronic bronchitis and emphysema), children and the elderly to reduce to the minimum outdoor physical exertion, and to reduce to the minimum the time of their stay outdoors, especially in areas with heavy traffic.  The general public is advised to reduce outdoor physical exertion, and to reduce the time of their stay outdoors, especially in areas with heavy traffic.  As the health effects on individuals may vary, participants should seek advice from a medical doctor if they are in doubt or feel uncomfortable.
"Serious" health risk category (Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) Exceeding 10)
  • Activities will be held as scheduled. Environmental Protection Department advises those with existing heart or respiratory illnesses (such as coronary heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases, asthma and chronic obstructive airways diseases including chronic bronchitis and emphysema), children and the elderly to avoid outdoor physical exertion, and to avoid staying outdoors, especially in areas with heavy traffic.  The general public is advised to reduce to the minimum outdoor physical exertion, and to reduce to the minimum the time of their stay outdoors, especially in areas with heavy traffic.  As the health effects on individuals may vary, participants should seek advice from a medical doctor if they are in doubt or feel uncomfortable.
IX. Cold Weather Warning
  • Activities will be held as scheduled. Participants are advised to put on warm clothes in avoiding adverse health effects due to the cold weather. Avoid prolonged exposure to wintry winds.
Very Hot Weather Warning
  • Activities will be held as scheduled.  Participants are advised to drink plenty of water and avoid over exertion.  If not feeling well, take a rest in the shade or a cooler place as soon as possible.  Avoid prolonged exposure under sunlight.  Loose clothing, suitable hats and UV-blocking sunglasses can reduce the chance of sunburn by solar ultraviolet radiation.  Use a sunscreen lotion of SPF 15 or above, and re-apply it frequently.    
Note: Please refer to the notes on activity of respective District OfficeIf a programme has to be cancelled due to inclement weather or venue maintenance, etc., our staff will notify the participants of the subsequent arrangement as soon as possible.  If the programme cannot be re-scheduled or compensatory session(s) cannot be arranged, participants may apply for full / partial refund from the organising district.  Participants should make the application for refund within 30 days after the completion date of the programme.  For details, please contact the relevant District Leisure Services Offices / venues.

III. Notes to Participants

  1. Participants should not be accepted to change class and the right of participation is not transferable.
  2. Participants should bring along their admission tickets and original copy of identity documents used for enrolment for verification by the instructor when attending class : Hong Kong residents should produce their Hong Kong Identity Cards (Birth Certificates / Documents of Identity for Visa Purposes / HKSAR Re-entry Permit / One-way Permit also acceptable for children aged below 11).  Children aged 14 or below may produce a copy of their identity documents.  The original of a valid photograph-bearing student handbook / card should also be produced if their identity documents supplied do not bear a photograph.  Non-Hong Kong residents should produce their valid travel documents (such as Passports, Exit-Entry Permits for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao).  Participants should keep their admission tickets until the end of the training course/programme.  Participants enrolled at concessionary rate shall produce the original of documentary proof for eligibility for concessionary rates (such as valid student handbook/ student card with photo, the “Registration Card for People with Disabilities” issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau and the notification of successful application for disability allowance issued by the Social Welfare Department for the instructor’s inspection in the first lesson of an enrolled course.  Those who fail to do so will be required to pay the difference between the full fee and the concessionary fee.
  3. Participants must observe the "Conditions of Use of the Venues". Instructors and venue staff are entitled to refuse any participant who fails to behave in a disciplined manner or whose behaviour may disturb or annoy other participants from attending the course. Fees paid are not refundable.
  4. Participants should be aware of their health condition, and avoid taking the class when feeling unwell or showing symptoms of infectious diseases like fever, respiratory tract symptoms (e.g. cough, running nose, sore throat), conjunctivitis, skin rashes, skin damage etc.
  5. For safety’s sake, instructors may reject anyone whose health condition is considered unsuitable for participation and those who have signs and symptoms of infectious diseases like fever, respiratory tract symptoms (e.g. cough, running nose, sore throat), conjunctivitis, skin rashes, skin damage etc. from participating the lesson.
  6. If participants suspect that they are subjected to sexual harassment, they should inform the officer-in-charge of the activity / venue staff at once, and may call 2511 8211 to seek advice directly from the Equal Opportunities Commission.   7. No pets should be brought to the activity.
  8. In the event of an activity being cancelled due to insufficient enrolment, participants will be notified seven days before the activity date.
