Hiu Kwong Street Sports Centre

Introduction

Hiu Kwong Street Sports Centre, which was commissioned on 7 June 1986, is located at 2 Hiu Kwong Street, Kwun Tong. Covering an area of 8 628M2, it provides the local residents with a wide range of leisure facilities and offers an ideal venue for leisure activities. Moreover, the Sports Centre also organises various kinds of sports and recreation programmes each month for the public's participation.

Facilities

  • A multi-purpose arena covering an area of 1 296 M2 is provided. It can be converted into 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts or 8 badminton courts.
  • 2 squash courts covering an area of 62M2 each (1 court can be used as a table tennis room, and 1 court can be used as a table tennis room or multi-purpose activity room (Ancillary facilities: sound equipment and gymnastic mats.))
  • A fitness room covering an area of 62M2 is provided. It offers different kind of fitness equipment.
  • A large activity room covering an area of 101 M2 is provided. A variety of activities such as dancing, martial arts, yoga, taekwondo and judo can be held. It also can accommodate 2 table tennis tables for booking.(Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • A small dance room covering an area of 52 M2 is provided. A variety of activities such as dancing and judo can be held.(Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

9am to 3pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
