Cat spirit Luo Xiaohei lives a peaceful life in a village with his master, Wuxian, gradually adapting to the human world. Their peace is shattered when the Liushi Guild Hall is attacked and Wuxian is framed. To defend his master, Xiaohei sets out with his senior disciple sister on a dangerous journey, exploring how humans and spirits can coexist.

The original 2011 web series featured healing, five-minute episodes about Xiaohei’s heartwarming daily life with a human girl. The film elevates the action and pacing, delivering a spectacular visual feast you cannot miss in Chinese animation.
