Description

Sir András Schiff's immersion in the Austro-German piano repertoire is unrivalled.   Schiff founded his own chamber orchestra, the Cappella Andrea Barca, to play concertos with him.  He takes a symphonic approach to concertos, fusing the soloist and orchestra into one organic entity to revive what it really means to conduct from the keyboard.
