Hong Kong Cultural Centre Open House on Sunday

The Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC) Open House next Sunday (November 18), from 2pm to 6pm, will present a series of colourful free activities, including Flamenco Dance, clown theatre, children's choral music, magic theatre and accordion music performance, for public enjoyment.

At the foyer stage, "Felah-Mengus Flamenco Workshop" will launch the open house with dances full of twists and spins accompanied by a strong flow of rhythmic flamenco guitar music.

The clown Jex Lai and friends will invite audiences to take part in interactive plays with funny treats and tricks, while "Bear Children's Choir" will perform stand-up theatre with songs and dances.

Magician Gary Charm will perform a crazy entertaining magic show, including the dangerous miracle - Blade Eating and the ridiculous trick - Bare Hand Human Floating.

Music director of Accordion Troupe Hong Kong and champion of international accordion competition Mr Gordon Chow, will perform Johann Strauss' "The Blue Danube", Ivanovici's "Waves of the Danube" and pieces of Western music. He will also demonstrate how to play the accordion and perform the award-winning "The Train is passing through the Mio Mountain Village".

Other activities include Tom Lee Music Carnival, physical comedy, balloon-twisting and juggling.
