"Semiscon Vocal Band" plays a cappella in unique style
******************************************************

Renowned Taiwan a cappella group Semiscon Vocal Band, will lead off the Leisure and Cultural Services Department's "A Cappella Series" this year with two concerts to be held in October.

The band will perform in a wide range of vocal styles ranging from classical, jazz to pop music of the East and West. The programme includes "Theme songs from James Bond 007 movies", "Leaving on the Jet Plane", "Eternal Flame", "Forever Blue Sky", "The Girl from Tropical Island", "David Tao's Medley", "Ode to Joy" and "Yes or No".

Semiscon has made a breakthrough in traditional ensemble singing, which incorporates theatre, dance, movement, formation, design, harmony and a cappella.
