Weekly cleaning programme in public swimming pools during Tuen Ng Festival

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department carries out a weekly cleaning programme in all its swimming pools to enhance their hygiene. The programme starts from 10am and completes at the end of the second session.

The weekly programme will be conducted as usual tomorrow (June 19) in Tuen Ng Festival. The public swimming pools carrying out the weekly cleaning programme are:

Pao Yue Kong Swimming Pool in Southern District
Chai Wan Swimming Pool in Eastern District
Kowloon Park Swimming Pool in Yau Tsim Mong District
Jordan Valley Swimming Pool in Kwun Tong District
Jockey Club Yan Oi Tong Swimming Pool in Tuen Mun District
Tsuen King Circuit Wu Chung Swimming Pool in Tsuen Wan District
Fanling Swimming Pool in North District
Ma On Shan Swimming Pool in Sha Tin District

During the closure of these pools, people can visit public swimming pools in the relevant districts or nearby districts.

A department spokesman reminded people to keep public swimming pools clean and hygienic during swimming.
