Beaches affected by red tide

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says that as influenced by red tide, red flags are hoisted at the following beaches. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beaches.

Southern District

Repulse Bay Beach, South Bay Beach, Middle Bay Beach, Chung Hom Kok Beach, Deep Water Bay Beach and St. Stephens Beach

Tuen Mun District

Cafeteria Old Beach, Cafeteria New Beach, Golden Beach, Butterfly Beach, Kadoorie Beach and Castle Peak Beach

Islands District

Hung Shing Yeh Beach

Tsuen Wan District
_________________

Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach

According to the Department's assessment, the red flags will remain hoisted at these beaches tomorrow (June 9). Members of the public can pay attention to our announcements.
