Enjoy fun of cycling at West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade
************************************************

People wanting to have fun cycling with family members but don't want to travel a long way need look no further than the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade.

Equipped with a 1.5-kilometre cycling track, bicycle rental facilities and a mini cycling ground in the centre of the promenade, the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade is an ideal cycling ground in the urban areas for parents and children where cyclists can also admire the harbour view.

People can take the opportunity tomorrow afternoon (May 27) to attend a fun-filled family carnival at the promenade, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and share the fun of cycling.

There will be various entertaining programmes, including cycling performances, trampoline games, games stalls, variety show and clown performances.

The carnival will be held from 1pm to 5pm. Free shuttle bus services between Kowloon Park (Austin Road entrance) and West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade will be arranged. Buses will depart from Kowloon Park to West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade every 15 minutes from 12.30pm to 4pm. They will depart from West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade to Kowloon Park at 15-minute intervals from 12.45pm to 5.30pm.

For enquiries on the carnivals, please call 2302 1762.
