A rocking tribute to HKSAR anniversary

A spectacular open-air pop-rock concert "10th Anniversary Pop Rock Gala", featuring pop singers and bands from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan, will be held on July 2 at Tamar Site, Admiralty.

The concert, which will run from 3pm to 10pm, is one of the celebration programmes which marks the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

"10th Anniversary Pop Rock Gala" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, organised and produced by Big Honor Entertainment Limited and co-ordinated by Event Management Consultant Limited.

A press conference announcing details of the event was held today (May 21).

"10th Anniversary Pop Rock Gala" features local pop singers and bands including Grasshoppers, Tai Chi, Yip Sai Wing & Wing Band, Lau Yee Tat & KellyJackie, Kenneth Wong of Raidas, Hins Cheung, Ivana Wong, Stephanie Cheng, Vincy Chan and Renee Dai.

Well received bands Tang Dynasty from the Mainland, Won Fu from Taiwan and w-inds. from Japan will also be attractions.

Up-and-coming bands V.O.X., Ever, Rednoon, Kolor, Purple Nine, Eternity Girls, TUX & Friends and V will also perform in the show. Eric Kok will be the concert MC.

Attending the press conference today (May 21) were Chief Manager (Celebration Events) of Leisure and Cultural Services Department Ms Winsome Chow, Chief Consultant of the event Mr Lam Kin Ming, General Manager of Big Honor Entertainment Mr Tom Chiu, and Project Director of Event Management Consultant Limited Mr Kings Hui. Attending artistes were Tai Chi, Yip Sai Wing, Lau Yee Tat, KellyJackie, Kenneth Wong, Stephanie Cheng, Renee Dai and Won Fu.
