Red flag at Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach lowered

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says the red flag hoisted at Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach in Tsuen Wan District has been lowered.

As advised by the Environmental Protection Department, the water quality of the beach is now suitable for swimming.

The red flag was hoisted on April 27 due to the water quality being classified as Grade 4 and unsuitable for swimming.
