Mobile Library 1 and 4 services suspended

Mobile Library 1 would suspend services from December 27 to January 6, 2007, while Mobile Library 4 would suspend services from January 2 to 8, 2007 for routine maintenance, a Leisure and Cultural Services Department spokesman said today (December 18).

For Mobile Library 1, the service points affected are Lei Muk Shue Estate, Tsuen King Circuit, Cheung Shan Estate, Riviera Gardens and Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan; Cheung Ching Estate and Cheung On Estate in Tsing Yi; Shek Lei (I) Estate and Kwai Shing West Estate in Kwai Chung.

The affected service points of Mobile Library 4 are Discovery Bay, Pui O, Shui Hau and Tong Fuk in Lantau Island, Fu Tung Estate and Man Tung Road Park in Tung Chung.

People are welcome to use other public libraries during the service suspension period. They may also renew library materials by telephone at 2698 0002 or 2827 2833, or via the Internet at .
