Young pianists in Mozart marathon

To mark the end of Mozart Year, 18 young pianists from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts will present the complete set of Mozart sonatas on December 3 at the Foyer, Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HKCC).

Young pianists aged from 8 to 22 joining the event are Chan Mei-yan, Johnson Leung, Dennis Tam, Chan Yi-mei, Au Yanmi, Chau Lok-ping, Jasper Sung, Crystal Lam, Chau Lok-ting, Li Ningyuan, Beverly Leung, Charles Ng, Wong Wai-yin, Peggy Sung, Zhao Ning, So Wai-lung, Poon Yiu-ying and Rachel Cheung.

People are welcome to enjoy the performance from 11am to 6pm at the Foyer of HKCC with free admission.

During the marathon performance, there will also be a drawing session for children under 12. Souvenirs will be given away to all participants.

This is a golden chance for the musically and artistically gifted members of the younger generation to shine in a tribute to one the world's greatest composers.
