Air-conditioning supply at the HK City Hall resumes
tonight
****************************************************

Air-conditioning supply resumes at early evening tonight (October 21) after urgent repair of the bursted seawater pipe of the Hong Kong City Hall.

All activities at the Low and High Blocks of the City Hall are held as scheduled. Air-conditioning supply to the restaurants, Concert Hall and Theatre are resumed gradually in the early evening.

The "Rockson Piano (International) Concert" at the Theatre and the "Maywa Denki (Japan) Hong Kong Live 2006 Mechatronica" concert at the Concert Hall will be held as scheduled tonight.

The bursting of a seawater pipe this morning has affected part of the air-conditioning supply to the venue.

The air-conditioning supply at the Junior Library, Adult Library, Basic Law Library, Computer and Information Centre, Exhibition Gallery, Recital Hall and Maxim's restaurants has been affected but services nonetheless remain normal.
