Air-conditioning supply at HK City Hall affected

Attention Radio and TV Announcers:

Please broadcast the following special announcement as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

The seawater pipe of the Hong Kong City Hall has bursted this morning (October 21). As a result, part of the air-conditioning supply of the Low and High Blocks of the Hong Kong City Hall has been affected.

The air-conditioning supply at the Marriage Registry, the Newspapers and Periodicals Reading Room of High Block and the URBTIX ticketing counter at the Low Block has not been affected.

The Air-conditioning supply at the Junior Library, Adult Library, Basic Law Library, Computer and Information Centre, Exhibition Gallery, Recital Hall and Maxim’s Chinese restaurant has been affected but service nonetheless will remain normal.

Urgent repair work is being carried out by the related departments.

The venue management apologises for any inconvenience caused.
