Free outdoor parties at Sai Kung and Stanley this summer

Free outdoor parties, "O2 Recharge Station" featuring music and live entertainment will be held at Sai Kung and Stanley, during two weekends in August.

Presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, "O2 Recharge Station", will feature young Chinese singers Dong Xin and Apple Chan respectively at Sai Kung Waterfront Park and Stanley Plaza Village Square. There will also be Renaissance painting demonstrations by chalk art artists. Admission is free.

Details of "O2 Recharge Station" are as follows:
1. Sai Kung Waterfront Park
August 12 and 13 (Saturday and Sunday)
4pm to 7pm
Programmes: Performance by Dong Xin, chalk art, Yoga and Pilates demonstrations, live jazz, acappella and bossa nova.

2. Stanley Plaza Village Square
August 19 and 20 (Saturday and Sunday)
3.30pm to 6.30pm
Programmes: Performance by Apple Chan, chalk art, Yoga and Pilates demonstrations, live jazz, acappella and bossa nova.

Dong Xin is a young jazz singer-song-writer from mainland China well-received by local and mainland Hi-Fi fans while the angel-like voice of Apple Chan from China won her the title of "Best New Singer" in Guangdong in 1998.
