Butterfly Beach in Tuen Mun reopened

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 20) that the Butterfly Beach in Tuen Mun District was reopened with normal lifeguard service.

The reopening followed the advice by the Environmental Protection Department that the water quality of the beach is now suitable for swimming.

The Butterfly Beach was temporarily closed on June 16 in view of the sighting of oil spill.
