The reopening of the outdoor leisure pools at the Hammer Hill Road Swimming Pool has been postponed until June 1 while repair work is carried out on a supporting frame for the exterior walls.

The outdoor leisure pools were originally scheduled to be reopened on April 1.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department said the indoor pools would remain open until March 31 and would then be closed for an annual overhaul.

The Hammer Hill Road Swimming Pool is scheduled to re-open on June 1.

Ends/Wednesday, March 15, 2006
