Opening hours for public libraries during Mid-Autumn Festival
*************************************************************

Most public libraries will close at 5pm while libraries at Butterfly Estate, Lek Yuen, Sha Tau Kok, Shek Wai Kok, Tai O, Tung Chung, Mui Wo and Peng Chau will close at 1pm on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 18), the Leisure and Cultural Services Department says. North Lamma, South Lamma and all mobile libraries will close for the whole day.

While normal arrangements for libraries' individual closing days apply, opening hours of public libraries on the day following the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 19) will be the same as those for public holidays.

Details can be obtained from notices at all public libraries and the website: http://www.hkpl.gov.hk . For enquiries on library services, please call 2921 0208.
