Lifeguard services at all LCSD beaches normal

Please broadcast the following special announcement as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced this morning (August 19) that all lifeguards have reported duty to all beaches and water sports centres.
However, due to inclement weather and large waves, the red flags were hoisted at the following beaches. It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
Big Wave Bay Beach
Chung Hom Kok Beach
Deep Water Bay Beach
Middle Bay Beach
Repulse Bay Beach
Shek O Beach
South Bay Beach
St. Stephen's Beach
Stanley Main Beach
Turtle Cove Beach
Hung Shing Yeh Beach
Lo So Shing Beach
Pui O Beach
Upper Cheung Sha Beach
Lower Cheung Sha Beach
Tong Fuk Beach
As the Hong Kong and Kowloon Life Guards' Union will stage industrial action at Sha Tin from 12 noon, there might be changes in the lifeguard services. Members of the public are advised to pay attention to the radio announcements of the latest situation.
