Hong Kong City Hall Theatre undergoes renovation

The Theatre of the Hong Kong City Hall will suspend services from next Monday (August 15) to Sunday, September 11, for renovation.

Other facilities will open as usual, a spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department said today (August 11).

The theatre renovation works include replacement of seats and refurbishment of dressing rooms, orchestra pit and backstage corridor area to provide better services and environment for audiences and performers.

Services for other facilities including Concert Hall, Exhibition Hall, Box Office, Enquiry Counter, Restaurants, Arts Shop, Memorial Garden, Marriage Registry, Library, Committee Rooms, Recital Hall and Exhibition Gallery remain as normal.

The Hong Kong City Hall opens from 9am to 11pm.
