Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, the red flags were hoisted at Big Wave Bay Beach, Shek O Beach, Stanley Main Beach and Turtle Cove Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Clear Water Bay First Beach, Clear Water Bay Second Beach and Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District; Upper Cheung Sha Beach, Lower Cheung Sha Beach and Tong Fuk Beach in Islands District this morning (August 10). It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
