Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, the red flags were hoisted at Big Wave Bay Beach, Shek O Beach and Stanley Main Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; Clear Water Bay First Beach, Clear Water Bay Second Beach and Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District this afternoon (August 9). It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
