Hung Shing Yeh Beach to reopen

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (August 6) that Hung Shing Yeh Beach on Lamma Island will be reopened with normal lifeguard service at 2pm today.

The reopening followed the advice by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) that the water quality of the beach is now suitable for swimming. The Department of Health has also noted the views of the EPD and the LCSD's arrangement of the reopening of the beach.
