34 LCSD swimming pools open, partially open

Please broadcast the following special announcement as soon as possible and repeat it at suitable intervals:

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced this morning (August 1) that its 34 public swimming pools are open or partially open to the public:

Chai Wan Swimming Pool
Island East Swimming Pool
Victoria Park Swimming Pool
Morrison Hill Swimming Pool
Wan Chai Swimming Pool Kennedy Town Swimming Pool
Pao Yue Kong Swimming Pool
Kwun Tong Swimming Pool
Jordan Valley Swimming Pool
Hammer Hill Road Swimming Pool
Morse Park Swimming Pool
Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool
Ho Man Tin Swimming Pool
Tai Wan Shan Swimming Pool
Kowloon Park Swimming Pool
Sham Shui Po Park Swimming Pool

Owing to some LCSD lifeguards taking industrial action, the following swimming pools have been temporarily closed for the swimmers' safety sake:

Jockey Club Yan Oi Tong Swimming Pool
Fanling Swimming Pool

The department apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Members of the public may call the Government Hotline at 1823 or browse LCSD's website at http://www.lcsd.gov.hk to enquire about the opening of public swimming pools.
