Red flags lowered at beaches

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (May 4) that red flags which were hoisted at Hung Shing Yeh Beach and Lo So Sing Beach on Lamma Island due to sighting of red tide have been lowered.

The red flags were lowered following the advice by the Environmental Protection Department that these beaches are now suitable for swimming.
