Zheng Virtuosi in Concert

Virtuosi of different zheng groups will perform famous zheng solo and concerto works including "Lantern Festival", "A Plaintive Song", "Feelings on the Straits", "Su Wu's Nostalgia for His Homeland", "An Exemplary Teacher for All Ages", in Hong Kong next month.

Under the baton of conductor Ma Man, zheng soloists So Chun-bo, Zhou Yanjia, Jiao Jinhai and Wang Zhongshan, accompanied by Hong Kong Juvenile and Youth Chinese Orchestra, will bring to Chinese music lovers a wonderful night of delightful melodies.

The concert will be staged at 8pm on Saturday, May 28, at the Auditorium, Tsuen Wan Town Hall. Tickets priced at $130, $110 and $90 are now available at all URBTIX outlets. Half-price concessions will be granted to senior citizens, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients.
