Opening hours of Impressionism exhibition to be extended to 10pm

The opening hours of the "Impressionism: Treasures from the National Collection of France" exhibition will be extended to 10pm this Saturday (April 9) and Sunday (April 10), the last two days of the exhibition, to meet the enthusiastic response of the public.

To date, the exhibition, which was opened from February 5, has attracted 235,468 visitors.

A spokesman for the Leisure and Cultural Services Department urged the public to grab the last opportunity to view the exhibition before it is closed on April 10 and the 48 masterpieces on display are returned to museums in France.

The exhibition opens from 10am to 8pm from Tuesday to Friday and from 10am to 10pm this Saturday and Sunday. It closes on Thursday.

Admission is $30 on Tuesday, from Friday to Sunday, and $20 on Wednesday. A half-price concession is available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, full-time students and people with disabilities. For any purchase of 20 regular tickets or more, admission is $21 each on Tuesday, from Friday to Sunday, and $14 each on Wednesday.

The Museum of Art is located at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. For details of the exhibition, visit the Museum of Art's website at .
