US Young Ambassadors perform Broadway musical excerpts

The Young Ambassadors of Brigham Young University from the US will perform Broadway musical excerpts in their Hong Kong show next month (April).

The show, "Circle of Life", will be held at the Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall on April 26 (Tuesday) at 8pm. It features a potpourri of delightful songs and dances from some of Broadway's most successful productions, from "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" to "Mamma Mia!" and "The Lion King". It also presents the best of American musical theatrical tradition with a focus on friends, family, love and laughter.

Since entering the international spotlight at Japan's Expo 70, the Young Ambassadors have circled the globe with their live and televised appearances. The group has performed extensively in major concert halls, hospitals, orphanages, or government palaces, employing music and dance as the mediums to disseminate the message of friendship.

Performed in English, "Circle of Life" is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
