New Arts Corner at Victoria Park
A new round of the Arts Corner project will be launched at Victoria Park tomorrow (March 27).
Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the Arts Corner aims to provide recreational and cultural activities for park goers and foster among them an appreciation for the arts.
In the fifth phase of the Arts Corner, there will be 38 stalls set up at Victoria Park for sales of recreational, art and cultural-related souvenirs. Artists will also offer services like painting, photography, calligraphy and sketching.
"The previous four rounds of the Arts Corner project were well-received by park goers. This is the main reason for relaunching the fifth round after it was last completed on March 6," an LCSD spokesman said.
The public is welcome to visit the South Pavilion and South Pavilion Plaza of Victoria Park from 10am to 6pm on Sundays and public holidays till November 27. Admission is free.
Similar events are being held in Hong Kong Park, Kowloon Park and Lai Chi Kok Park (Stage III).
The Arts Corner at Hong Kong Park will run from noon to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until December 31 while the Arts Fun Fair at Kowloon Park and Lai Chi Kok Park (Stage III) will run from 1pm to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays until May 29.
