Hong Kong Flower Show winners announced

The winners of the Hong Kong Flower Show 2005 exhibit competition were announced today (March 12).

Two Overall Best of the Hong Kong Flower Show Cups were presented. The champion of the Open Competition Section was Mr Leung Kai-kuen and the winner of the Overall Best (School Section) was Hong Chi Morninghill School, Tuen Mun.

The exhibit competition attracted over 2,500 entries and was one of the most popular activities of the show. The overall standard of entries in the various categories of the competition was outstanding.

The exhibit competition was one of the events of Hong Kong Flower Show 2005. Organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the Show is held at Victoria Park from now until March 20 from 9am to 9pm.

Admission for adults is $14 and children, students, senior citizens and persons with a disability pay half price. Senior citizens and persons with a disability will have free admission on weekdays while adults in a group of 30 or more people will pay half price on weekdays.

Admission tickets to the Hong Kong Flower Show 2005 will be sold at the showground at Victoria Park throughout the show period. Tickets will also be available at LCSD's Leisure Link outlets.
