Hong Kong Flower Show tickets on sale

Admission tickets to the 2005 Hong Kong Flower Show are on sale now (February 21) until March 20 at the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD)'s Leisure Link outlets.

The 2005 Hong Kong Flower Show, to be held at Victoria Park from 9am to 9pm from March 11 to 20, will feature the Rhododendron as its theme flower.

Admission for adults is $14 and children, students, senior citizens and disabled people pay half price. Senior citizens and disabled people will have free admission on weekdays while groups of 30 or more adults will pay half price on weekdays.

The Leisure Link outlets are available at:

* District Leisure Services Offices;
* Sports Centres;
* Tennis Courts;
* Squash Courts;
* Holiday Camps; and
* Water Sports Centres.

Tickets will also be sold at the showground at Victoria Park throughout the show period.

This year's event will showcase exotic flowers, landscape and floral art displays presented by more than 170 participating organisations from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas. More than 300,000 flowers will be on display.

Fringe activities including music and dance performances, green talks, floral art demonstrations and fun games will also be organised for the enjoyment of visitors.
