Red flag lowered at Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (January 20) that red flag which was hoisted at Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District yesterday (January 19) due to sighting of red tide has been lowered.

The red flag was lowered following the advice by the Environmental Protection Department that the beach is now suitable for swimming.
