"Four Nights with Folks" by local singers

"Four Nights with Folks" featuring four different themes: "Folk Rock", "Hong Kong City Folks", "Peter, Paul & Mary" as well as "Simon & Garfunkel", will be staged in Hong Kong next month (February).

It will be presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Performing in the concert will be renowned local folk song singers like Brenda Lo, Ronald Tang, Lisa Cheung, John Lee, Mercury, D'Spectacles, Trinity, Tri's Hi's etc.

Details of the programmes are as follows:

"Hotel California: In the Glory of Folk Rock"
February 18 (Friday) 8pm Tsuen Wan Town Hall

"The Story of Hong Kong City Folks"
February 19 (Saturday) 8pm Tai Po Civic Centre

"A Tribute to Peter, Paul & Mary"
February 26 (Saturday) 8pm Tuen Mun Town Hall

"A Tribute to Simon & Garfunkel"
February 27 (Sunday) 8pm Ko Shan Theatre

Tickets priced from $100 to $180 are now available at all URBTIX outlets. Half-price concessions will be granted to senior citizens, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients. (Limited tickets for Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients available on a first-come-first-served basis.) 10% discount will be offered to Friends of LCSD performing venues.
