Kwai Tsing Theatre open day

Kwai Tsing Theatre will hold an Open Day on Saturday (January 8) from 3pm to 6pm with free admission.

The open day provides audiences with an opportunity to experience theatre stage effects. Rainbowland will present a family theatre show of mime and black light magic and the technical team of the theatre will demonstrate lighting effects in the show. Artist group Art Tree will bring magic demonstrations and handicraft stalls of magic props.

There will also be an interesting acrobatic parade. Other attractions include painting and art workshops, demonstrations of music, dance and Cantonese operatic songs presented by various groups.

One of the performing venues of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, Kwai Tsing Theatre is equipped with advanced stage equipments and specially designed for performances of drama, dance and opera. Other venue facilities include Auditorium, Exhibition Gallery, Lecture Room, Dance Studio and Rehearsal Room.
