Public reminded to keep venues clean at New Year's Eve

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department reminds people to keep order and keep places clean while celebrating the New Year tonight (December 31). Rubbish should be properly disposed of into litter bins. Littering is liable to a fixed penalty of $1,500.

The Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade Beautification Project is in progress. Part of the Piazza of Hong Kong Cultural Centre and its adjacent waterfront will be closed. People who go to the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade should take care in crowded places.
