A 'date' with John Woo

Director John Woo will visit the Hong Kong Film Archive (HKFA) at 7.30pm next Wednesday (November 10) and together with friends in the film industry and film critics, will share with audiences his views on the development of Hong Kong and Chinese films.

"A Date with John Woo" is presented by the HKFA of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, in association with the Department of Film & Television of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

The seminar will be conducted in Cantonese. Free admission tickets are available at the reception counter of the HKFA on a fist-come-first-served basis, with maximum two tickets for each person. Woo will receive an honorary doctor degree in Social Sciences at the HKBU and the university has invited Woo to join a series of talks and seminars from November 8 to 11. Enquiries on the seminars, please call 3411 7479.
