Public invited to give views on library services

The Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department is inviting people to join a Customer Liaison Group Tea Gathering to express their views on library services. The tea gatherings will be held on consecutive weekends -- November 20 and 21, and November 27 and 28.

Details of the customer liaison group meetings at 30 public libraries are as follows:

November 20 (Saturday)

10am -11.30am Yuen Long Public Library
10.30am - noon Ngau Chi Wan, San Po Kong and Sheung Shui Public Libraries
11am -12.30pm Quarry Bay, Lai Chi Kok, Shui Wo Street, Yau Ma Tei and North Kwai Chung Public Libraries
11.30am -1pm Tseung Kwan O Public Library
2.30pm - 4pm Hong Kong Central, Kowloon and Sha Tin Public Libraries
3pm - 4.30pm Shek Tong Tsui and South Kwai Chung Public Libraries
3.30pm - 5pm Tai Po Public Library

November 21 (Sunday)

10.30am - noon To Kwa Wan, Tuen Mun and Tsing Yi Public Libraries
2.30pm - 4pm City Hall Public Library

November 27 (Saturday)

10.30am - noon Fa Yuen Street, Po On Road and Tin Shui Wai Public Libraries
11am - 12.30pm Lockhart Road and Ngau Tau Kok Public Libraries
3pm - 4.30pm Chai Wan Public Library
3.30pm - 5pm Cheung Chau and Fanling Public Libraries

November 28 (Sunday)

11am - 12.30pm Aberdeen Public Library

People who are interested can simply walk in to participate or reserve a seat by completing a form obtainable from the public libraries or the website ( http://www.hkpl.gov.hk ). The form can be faxed to 2415 8211 or emailed to hotline-lib@lcsd.gov.hk . Participants will receive a souvenir as a token of thanks for their contribution.
