Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, the red flags were hoisted at Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay First Beach in Sai Kung; Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach and Upper Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District; Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach, Turtle Cove Beach and Hairpin Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island this (October 15) morning. It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
