Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, the red flags were hoisted at Silverstrand Beach, Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung; Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach, Turtle Cove Beach and Hairpin Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island this (October 14) morning. It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
