The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (September 16) that Kowloon Park Swimming Pool would be fully reopened tomorrow (September 17).

As well as the indoor facilities comprising a main pool, leisure pool, training pool and diving pool, which were reopened on September 13, services of the outdoor facilities consisting of three leisure pools and a paddling pool will resume normal operations tomorrow.

Also reopened to the public tomorrow will be the indoor facilities of Hammer Hill Road Swimming Pool encompassing a training pool and leisure pool.

A spokesman for the LCSD said that tests conducted by government departments concerned proved that the water quality of the swimming pools was up to the hygiene standards and suitable for swimming.

Both swimming pools will be closed every Tuesday afternoon for thorough cleaning, the spokesman added.
