Suspected red tide sighted at two Southern District beaches

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced that due to the sighting of suspected red tide, red flags have been hoisted at Stanley Main Beach and Hairpin Beach in Southern District since 3pm today (September 8). Beach-goers are advised not to swim in the beaches.
