LCSD to reopen swimming pools to public

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 27) the reopening of some swimming pool facilities closed earlier because of the discovery of "bloodworms".

After the refilling of sterilised water, the children's fun pool at Pao Yue Kong Swimming Pool which was closed on August 25 will reopen tomorrow morning (August 28).

The main, secondary and training pools of Kwun Tong Swimming Pool which will be closed tomorrow will be reopened to the public on Monday (August 30).

With the completion of refilling and checking pool water, the paddling and children's pools at Kwun Tong Swimming Pool will resume service on September 2.

Reopening of Kowloon Park Swimming Pool, is aimed at early September.
