Extravaganza tickets of Chinese Gold Medallists to be available tomorrow

The Chinese gold medallists who won in the Olympic Games in Athens will participate in an extravaganza to be staged on September 7 at Hong Kong Stadium. Tickets for the show will be available for sale at URBTIX outlets starting from tomorrow (August 24).

These top athletes include gold medal winners in diving, swimming, weightlifting, shooting, judo and other ball games. Hong Kong delegation to the Olympic Games 2004, local singers as well as showbiz celebrities including Mr Alan Tam, Mr Hacken Lee, Mr Alex Fong, Mr Andy Hui, Miss Kelly Chen and Miss Miriam Yeung, will also take part in this dazzling performance.

Each patron is given a souvenir. Furthermore, there will be a lucky draw in which the participants will have a chance to win a prestigious present for this memorable event.

A total of about 32,000 tickets will be sold at $20 each. Each patron could buy a maximum of four tickets on a first-come-first-served basis. Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, and people with disabilities.

Tickets will be available for sale at the URBTIX outlets of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, including Hong Kong Cultural Centre Auditoria Building, Hong Kong City Hall, Sha Tin Town Hall, Tsuen Wan Town Hall, Tuen Mun Town Hall, Kwai Tsing Theatre and Yuen Long Theatre from 8am to 9.30pm. Meanwhile, the opening hours of those outlets at Hong Kong Coliseum, Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Sheung Wan Civic Centre, Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre, Ko Shan Theatre, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall will be from 8am to 6.30pm.

Members of the public can also buy the tickets at URBTIX outlets located at Tom Lee Music Company Limited and Hong Kong Art Centre at which the opening hours are from 10am to 7.30pm and from 10am to 6pm respectively.
