Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

Due to large waves, the red flags were hoisted at Silverstrand Beach, Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung; Tong Fuk Beach and Upper Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District; Shek O Beach, Big Wave Bay Beach, Stanley Main Beach, Turtle Cove Beach and Hairpin Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island this (July 22) morning. It is dangerous to enter the waters off these beaches.
