"Twinkle Twinkle Little Fish" a must-see for youngsters
*******************************************************

A dazzling and colourful caterpillar, grasshopper, butterfly, rooster and lion, will appear in the blacklight theatre "Twinkle Twinkle Little Fish" next month (August) at Hong Kong City Hall, presenting a joyful celebration of the world of animals, insects and plants.

Based on the delightful stories, cheeky humour and vibrantly coloured collages of Eric Carle's picture books, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", "Do You Want to be My Friend?" and "Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me", the Windmill Performing Arts from Australia will bring these amazing creatures alive through dazzling puppetry, swirling visual images and specially created music. It is a must-see for three to seven-year-olds!

Be amazed by the giant creatures, marvel at the changing seasons, and watch as the caterpillar grows fat, builds a cocoon and transforms into an enormous beautiful butterfly. There will also be a rooster crow off to a Latin beat; the lion king that looks like a big pussycat; and the buzzing dragonflies, mosquitoes and honey bees.

Windmill Performing Arts was set up in 2002 dedicated to developing and presenting innovative professional performances for children and families.

"Twinkle Twinkle Little Fish" is part of the programme of the large-scale summer arts festival "International Arts Carnival". The show will be staged at 7.30pm from August 5 to 8, at 3pm on August 7 and 8, and at 11am on August 8 at Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. Tickets priced at $100, $140 and $180 are available at all URBTIX outlets.

Half-price tickets are offered to full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Recipients. Package discounts of up to 15% are available for performing arts programmes/films.
