Additional performance for ballet classic "Swan Lake"

An additional performance of "Swan Lake" will be held at 3pm on August 21 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium, due to overwhelming audience response.

The programme is part of the large-scale summer festival International Arts Carnival organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

The production is the annual performance of The Hong Kong Ballet Group to mark its 40th anniversary celebration.

In the additional performance, two principal dancers Chantel Elizabeth Roulston and William Lin from the Hong Kong Ballet will join with hundreds of talented local ballet students to stage this timeless classical.

Including the additional performances, "Swan Lake " will be presented at 7.30pm on August 20 and 21, and at 3pm on August 21 and 22 at the Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.

The principal dancers for the three other performances will be Ji Pingping and Chen Zhenrong from the Shanghai Ballet.

Tickets priced at $100, $150 and $200 are available at all URBTIX outlets. Half-price tickets are offered to full-time students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Recipients. Package discounts of up to 15% are available for performing arts programmes/films.
