Red tide dispersed Turtle Cove Beach reopened

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (June 21) that the red tide found at Turtle Cove Beach on Hong Kong Islands on June 18 had dispersed. The beach has been reopened with the lifeguard service operating from 9 am to 6 pm daily.
The re-opening followed the advice of the Environmental Protection Department that the beach is now suitable for swimming.
